As Honorary Chair and facilitator of these events, I invite and welcome nurses and caring/healing and health colleagues from around the world to join others and me at this first–of-its-kind

GLOBAL NURSING CARING-PEACE CONFERENCE

Reminder:  In times of war and violence and non-caring events in our world and among our communities today, there is never a more pressing time for nursing to participate in Global Peace.

Just as 2010 is the International Year of the Nurse, and I launched the Watson Caring Science Institute Million Nurse Global Caring Field Project, 2011 extends the 2010 momentum of Global Caring in Nursing into Global Peace, held in Hiroshima, Japan, inviting Caring–Healing-Love-Peace into our personal professional lives and those whom we touch every day. It is a nursing role to manifest the relationship between Human Caring and Peace.

It is through the endorsement of the following organizations that multiple experiences and learning experiences will be offered, radiating Caring-Love-Healing-Peace around the globe.  All are participants and supporters of this special gathering:
I am calling a Circle of Women of Men of Nurses and Health Care professionals and any and all interested passionate others, to join me and our colleagues from all different parts of our world. This occasion will usher in a new era of nursing and wo/men’s role in educating self and others of the intersection between and among nursing’s loving Human Caring and Healing dedicated work and Peace in our world and personal lives.

Please submit an abstract, a poster, an exhibit, a performance, a poem, a song, a dance, a paper, as part of the open space format created for this unique moment to passionately dedicate ourselves and our work to Caring and Peace in our lives, our world!

Love,
