About CCEP

The Caritas Coach Educational Program® is a unique six-month educational program incorporating interactive online instruction, virtual small group intensives, an assigned Caritas Coach® faculty mentor, and two in-person onsite intensive seminars. Through dynamic inquiry and collaborative dialogue, participants will explore caritas consciousness and ways of knowing-being-doing-becoming that empower them to transform practice and life and to live with deeper meaning, purpose, dignity and wholeness.

The purpose of a Caritas Coach is to transform self and systems with an intentional Caritas Consciousness/Caritas Ways of Being that integrate and restore Caring–Healing and Love into our life and work/world, providing deeper meaning, purpose, dignity and wholeness to health care providers, patients, institutions and society.

Participants are supported in their desire, to successfully complete CCEP through both a one-to-one mentoring relationship with WCSI Faculty as well as the collective expertise and collaborative dialogue within the group, to delve deeper into an area of personal and professional interest for bringing emergence/convergence of caring-healing environments and helping-trusting relationships forward in meaningful and compelling ways.

Graduates consistently share the beauty and blessings of having made the commitment to dedicate time and energy to crafting a personally compelling story for how to model intelligent heart-centered approaches to health care.

The program relies upon a hybrid format, hosting a 2-day onsite seminar at the initiation and graduation time points, and facilitating responsive, flexible, virtual faculty-mentoring interactions over the interim 6-month period:
