Randy currently is the Regional Director of Patient Care Services Performance at Kaiser Permanente Northern California and originally hails from North Carolina. Throughout his career, Randy has been blessed to work within multiple areas in fascinating roles, as well in leadership organizations such as the National Student Nurses Association as State President, the American Nurses Association as Delegate, and the Watson Caring Science Institute as Faculty originally 2009-2012. Randy has been a HeartMath® practitioner, trainer and coach since 2008. He has earned degrees including his Bachelors degree in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University, Masters in both Business and Nursing Administration from University of North Carolina, and an Executive Leadership DNP from the USF in 2018 and recently completed UCSF Executive Leadership Program. Randy says, “Nursing found him and is so grateful it did.” He remains humble and grounded through his most important role as dad to 4 and husband to an ever-patient Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Day to day activities in Randy’s current role focus primarily in the areas of fiscal performance within the Nursing Division addressing key performance indicators of overtime and hours per patient day.
