4 Day Intensive Postdoctoral & Senior Scholar Study

UPDATE: As of June 14, 2023, this program has changed to a 4 day on-site intensive study. Jean is no longer accepting applicants at this time.

Working closely with Dr. Watson, this exclusive 4 day on site program is open to applicants who wish to further their study and knowledge of Caring Science as a guide to an enlightened-unitary, sacred model of science for education, practice, research, and leadership. It is designed to allow for deep personal/professional integration and extension of one’s scholarship and goals into Caring Science as Sacred Science – an interdisciplinary / transdisciplinary field of study and practice.

Requires pre-session self-study for in depth on site scholarly study in an intimate setting with Dr. Watson.

Who Should Attend

Open to nurses/health science professionals who wish a customized intensive Post Doctoral (or others) Scholarly Caring Science program of study.

Cost*

$8,800 — 4 day onsite study (room and board not included)
$8,800 — for finishing Postdocs and Scholars
$8,000/year for participants who need additional time or wish to continue training with Jean. Pre-approval required.

A two-page narrative that speaks to the extent of your scholarly experiences and that captures your personal goals, motivation, intentional focus and desired outcomes as a Watson Caring Science Scholar.

Examples may include:

- Develop a program of creative scholarship, caring inquiry, enlightened models for education, clinical scholarship-practice
- Complete an agreed-to personal/professional project or proposal for funding
- Co-create a joint caring science project among the Caring Science Scholars in the program
- Ontological inquiry of self/cultural practices, translating discovery into professional programs/directions
- Submit articles for publication or a book on your area of interest
- Develop workshops and/or a workbook; create a video documentary
- Other self-generated field of creative scholarship inspired and informed by Unitary Caring Science as Sacred Science and purposive personal pursuits.

Watson Caring Science Postdoctoral / Senior Scholars

The current WCSI Caring Science Postdoctoral / Senior Scholars and the individual and collective programs of study affirm the unfolding scholarship, visions and global connections resulting from this shared scholarship. This site provides an overview of recent projects and interpersonal global alignment flowering forth via the diversity yet, deep shared focused directions flowing forth from each postdoctoral scholar.

It is a personal honor to experience the joy of the intimate teachings as well as humbled by the level of scholarly engagement of this work. I continue to be touched, privileged and humbled by these scholars and their pursuits and accomplishments.
