Arsine Babayan is a board-certified Nurse Coach and Caritas Coach whose work is rooted in Jean Watson’s Caring Science and informed by trauma-responsive, mind–body healing practices. With over 20 years of experience working in emergency medicine and ambulatory surgery center at Kaiser Permanente San Jose, Arsine brings a deeply relational, whole-person lens to caring for individuals navigating stress, uncertainty, and transition within healthcare environments.
Her professional path has been shaped by a profound personal healing journey that deepened her understanding of suffering, resilience, and the innate capacity for healing that resides within each person. Through sustained study and lived practice in somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, and contemplative traditions, Arsine has cultivated an embodied approach to care that honors the unity of mind, body, and spirit.
Drawing from Caring Science, HeartMath coherence practices, yoga philosophy, restorative and therapeutic yoga, Reiki, and mindfulness-based interventions, Arsine integrates evidence-informed and experiential modalities to support emotional regulation, safety, and self-connection. Her work emphasizes therapeutic presence, attuned listening, and relational safety as essential conditions for healing—particularly for individuals impacted by stress, trauma, and burnout.
Anchored in the Caritas Processes®, Arsine’s practice centers on honoring human dignity, cultivating authentic caring relationships, and creating spaces where meaning, hope, and coherence can emerge. She is especially committed to translating Caring Science from theory into lived practice—supporting clinicians and caregivers in embodying compassion, self-care, and caring-healing consciousness in the midst of complex healthcare systems.
As a Caritas Coach and educator, Arsine partners with nurses and interprofessional teams to reconnect with their inner wisdom, strengthen resilience, and restore a sense of purpose in their work. Her teaching and coaching invite a return to the heart of nursing—where caring presence, wholeness, and relational healing are recognized as foundational to both personal well-being and professional practice.
