A Two-Day Immersive Program Exploring Caring Science, Conscious Dying, and Sacred Practice
Deerfield Beach, FL — The Watson Caring Science Institute (WCSI), in collaboration with the Conscious Dying Institute (CDI), is pleased to announce "At the Threshold", a two-day guided exploration of the sacred practice of accompanying the dying. This immersive program will be held October 17–18, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Watson Caring Science Institute in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
WCSI and CDI invite Caritas Coaches®, Caring Science Practitioners, and Caritas Leaders to deepen their understanding of how proximity to death can illuminate the way we choose to live. Participants will engage in reflective learning grounded in Caring Science and Conscious Dying principles, tending to the inner life of the nurse and exploring the transformative nature of compassionate presence at the end of life.
The program fee is $700, with a sliding scale honored to ensure accessibility—no one will be turned away for financial need.
