Deerfield Beach, FL: WCSI is announcing a leadership transition within its Education pillar. Dr. Lori Gdanetz is stepping down from her role as Director of Education and will continue contributing as an Education Consultant. WCSI is pleased to appoint Amy Schlachtenhaufen as its new Caritas Coach Education Program® Director

Amy's appointment continues WCSI’s commitment to strengthening educational strategy, expanding learning pathways, and deepening the organization’s dedication to advancing Caring Science across global communities.  We are so excited to welcome Amy into this new role.  Her gifts and talents, including her strong technical abilities, her fresh energy, and her clear vision for the future, will strengthen our educational work.

Lori Gdanetz

Dr. Gdanetz has served with distinction, shaping key milestones in curriculum expansion, educator support, and the Institute’s overall academic impact. Since her directorship, the Caritas Coach Education Program (CCEP)® has grown exponentially - from 40 learners per year to 182. She developed a robust program evaluation process, presented to the Board a strong case for investment in faculty and the Canvas platform, and launched the first in-house Kaiser Permanente CCEP® with dedication and love. Her leadership has been instrumental in elevating the quality and reach of WCSI’s educational offerings.

Under her leadership as Director of Education, she has expanded national and global educational programs in the US and (with Global Director Dr. Hector Rosso), Spanish/Portuguese speaking countries, demonstrating ideals beyond the present, anticipating the future. Her unique and personal leadership and presence will inform and linger way forward as CCEP® continues under the very able and capable, exciting leadership of Amy Schlachtenhaufen”.
