Ella Vallejo MSN, RN, CNL, NEA-BC, NPD- BC is an accomplished healthcare professional with a passion for nursing excellence, mentorship, and patient care. Over the last 15 years, she has worked across a diverse range of hospital specialties and acuity levels, including institutions such as Stanford Hospital, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, and Kaiser NCAL.
With a background in nursing leadership and education, she has served as an advocate for nursing growth and coach of nurses to achieve their full potential. Ella has created nurse residency programs, opened nursing units, written for PTAP accreditation for RN training programs, and obtained the AACN Beacon Award for Excellence. Currently Ella serves as a clinical practice consultant for the Northern California Kaiser Region, providing leadership and staff nurse development. Ella also contributes her expertise to HealthImpact, the California nursing workforce center, and the Benner Learning Institute for Teaching and Learning. Outside of her professional life she is a registered yoga teacher, off grid camper, and avid reader.
