Jimmie Nickleberry became a Caritas Coach in 2020 and became a Watson Caring Science Institute-Kaiser Permanente faculty member in 2024. She has been a Registered Nurse since 1997. Jimmie graduated from Solano Community College with an associate degree in nursing, California State University of Hayward with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and Dominican University with a master’s degree in nursing. She currently works at Kaiser Permanente San Leandro Medical Center as the Nursing Operations Director. Jimmie cherishes her WCSI experience which broadened her understanding of the process of being, becoming and doing. Becoming a Caritas Coach has led her on an amazing journey of transformation both in her daily life and profession. Jimmie inspires to create caring and compassionate spaces for healthcare professionals to renew, rejuvenate, and replenish so they can do their best work of caring for others. She loves the healing arts, including jazz and theater, especially the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
