Kelsey Curtis is a registered nurse, operating room circulator, Caritas Coach®, and nursing preceptor. She has her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Pacific Lutheran University of Tacoma, WA, and a secondary bachelor’s degree in nursing from the California State University, Stanislaus. Her experience in the Operating Room as a certified nurse in the OR (CNOR) has led her to furthering the reaches of Caring Science within the vulnerable population of patients undergoing surgery. Currently, she is involved in the nursing leadership governance at Kaiser San Leandro as the Chair Elect for the Education, Practice, & Informatics council. She has held the position of Retinal Service Line Coordinator since 2020, helping to support and collaborate with the surgeons, physician assistants, and other team members for optimizing the retinal/ophthalmology surgery service. Outside of her career, she enjoys learning new skills, reading, sewing, being outdoors, spending time with her family, and participating in community outreach for health. Above all endeavors, she is a loving wife, daughter, and mother of two.
