Maile Mauer is a Senior Nursing Professional Development Specialist in the Nursing Professional Development (NPD) department at Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center in Northern California. Maile has been at Kaiser Permanente for 9 years. She also has leadership experience as an assistant nurse manager of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at UC Davis for 6 years, where she worked with the CICU and other nursing departments for more than 13 years in leadership as well as nursing sensitive indicator measures improvement projects.

Maile has been a registered nurse since 1996 when she earned her ADN in Nursing, continuing on to a Master of Science in Nursing Education in 2015. She is a Caritas Coach®, HeartMath® Certified Trainer, and is trained in basic levels of Healing Touch Energy Program. Maile is board certified as an Advanced Holistic Nurse (AHN-BC) from the American Holistic Nurses Association since 2024.
