Sarah Viola is an experienced people‑centered leader with more than 30 years of professional experience in organizational development, service excellence, and community engagement. She currently serves as an Area Experience Leader for Vacaville Medical Center, where she leads patient and consumer experience initiatives, partners with multidisciplinary teams, and uses performance data to drive meaningful, sustainable improvement. In partnership with Caritas Coach Lisa Giusto, the Vallejo Area Experience Leader, they facilitate the four-part Caring Science Series to advance the art and science of human caring in the Napa Solano Service Area.
Throughout her career, Sarah has held senior leadership roles across healthcare, human resources, performance improvement, and employee development, consistently focusing on building strong cultures, advancing education, and improving quality of life for the communities she serves. She holds a Master of Science in Organizational Management and maintains multiple professional certifications including a Beryl Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) that support leadership, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Sarah represents Kaiser Permanente as an Ambassador for Dixon District Chamber of Commerce – she is passionate about contributing time, talent, and perspective to help strengthen lifelong learning, celebrating creativity, and fostering community connections.
Outside of work and service, Sarah enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, playing with her dog and two cats, and travel with her husband John.
