Carrie Robertshaw is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 21 years of nursing experience. Over the past 13 years, she has held progressive leadership roles and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center.

Carrie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, her Master of Science in Nursing from Sonoma State University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Walden University. In addition to her executive leadership role, Carrie serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at a community college, where she designs and teaches evidence-based curricula that foster critical thinking, collaboration, and the professional development of future healthcare leaders. She is deeply committed to supporting the community, serving on the Board of the Economic Development Corporation and Solano Community College Foundation.

Carrie became a Caritas Coach in 2026 and is passionate about creating environments where caring, presence, and authentic human connection are woven into everyday
practice. Through intentional leadership, coaching, and culture development, Carrie strives to embed Caring Science principles into organizational strategy, caregiver well-being, and patient experience, fostering a culture where compassion and excellence are inseparable.
