Michelle is currently the Area Experience leader for Vacaville Medical Center, where she is responsible for the patient satisfaction for the hospital. Michelle works with teams throughout the hospital on engagement in various care experience initiatives. She is the founder of Vacaville’s Caring Council and the hospital lead for Schwartz rounds. Michelle is the regional MCH care experience liaison and co-lead for the MCH Care Collaborative call.

As a certified nurse midwife, Michelle has worked in maternal child health her entire career. Prior to becoming the Area Experience Leader, she worked as the clinical nurse educator for the maternal child health units in Kaiser Vallejo and Kaiser Vacaville.

Michelle has been with Kaiser for 15 years. She is a Caritas Coach and Certified HeartMath trainer. This year Michelle is a co-facilitator for KP Cares 2.0. She has also begun her studies for the Master Path in Kaili Ki Reike. She hopes to use her Reike training to help nurses with healing and resilience.

In her free time, Michelle loves to spend time with her horse, hike, camp and travel. She also enjoys adventures with her 2 adult daughters.
