Deerfield Beach, FL - The Watson Caring Science Institute (WCSI) is honored to announce that Henan Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine has been officially designated a WCSI Global Affiliate. This designation recognizes the hospital’s sustained leadership in integrating Caring Science with the time-honored practices of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) nursing and affirms its role in advancing humanistic care across China and around the world.
With this designation, Henan Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine becomes the third WCSI Global Affiliate in China. A milestone that reflects the growing international embrace of Caring Science and the meaningful dialogue emerging between Jean’s Theory of Human Caring and the centuries-old healing traditions of Chinese medicine.
Established in 1985, Henan Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a comprehensive Grade A tertiary hospital specializing in Traditional Chinese Medicine, integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, healthcare, and rehabilitation. It is also a partner in China’s multi-center research on humanistic care and has achieved exemplary results in the field of humanistic care within TCM nursing. Its nursing team has long pursued the integration of Caring Science theory and TCM healing practices, advancing both clinical excellence and the deeper, relational dimensions of care.
