Human-Centered Leadership in Healthcare: Making a Healing Difference from Bedside Nurse to Boardroom Decision-makers
The MRCSC will be offering an exciting 90-minute Fall virtual program on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm (EDT), focused on Human-Centered Leadership in Healthcare. The key speakers are nurse authors and entrepreneurs, Kay Kennedy, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, CPHQ; Susan Campis, MSN, RN, NE-BC; and Lucy Leclerc, PhD, RN, NPD-BC, co-authors of the 2020 article in Nurse Leader, “Human-Centered Leadership: Creating Change from the Inside Out”, and soon to be published book, Human-Centered Leadership in Healthcare: Evolution of a Revolution, with a foreword by Jean Watson. The speakers also serve as Senior Principal Consultants for “uLeadership, LLC”.
This 90-minute program will include meditation, mindfulness practice activity, application of Caring Science in leadership, and time for discussion with the speakers and the MRCSC Leadership Team. Every nurse, no matter what their role or practice setting, is a leader in human caring and will find the program meaningful and grounded in caring philosophy and caring science practice. All nurses and nursing students are welcome to attend. Contact Hours will be offered by Endicott College.

Registration closes on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 11:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time.
