The 7th Massachusetts Regional Caring Science Consortium was held at the UMass Worcester Medical School and sponsored by the UMass Worcester Graduate School of Nursing on November 5, 2019.
The morning conference was entitled “The Power of Caring Science Practices to Create Healing Work Environments.” It featured Jean Watson as keynote and presentations from five Caritas Coaches® from Massachusetts who presented their Caritas Coach Education Program® (CCEP) projects.
Jean Watson and Joan Vitello participated in afternoon discussions with nurses and students at the University of Massachusetts Worcester Medical School for a fireside chat on holistic Nursing.

Joan Vitello, PhD. RN, NEA-BC, FAHA, FAAN, is Dean of the Graduate School of Nursing at University of Massachusetts Worcester Medical School.
